When the everyday brain chatter is quiet, we can reach within the depths of our subconscious and bring our awareness to memories, feelings, sensations and emotions that don’t belong to our present time. Then where they are coming from?
You may call them Past Life memories or you may think otherwise.
Whether you believe in the idea of reincarnation or think that memories come from your subconscious as a wonderfully powerful story or metaphor for whatever issues you’re exploring in your life or some other source in the collective, the result is the same.
There are numerous ways to access the past life memories; through spontaneous recall or with the assistance of a professional Regression Therapist.
It also can be done with or without hypnosis. It doesn’t matter how we get to the memories, but what we do when the memories arrived. The expertise of a Regression Therapist is essential to help guide you through those memories, feelings and emotions that are revealed.
I treat each regression as Past Life Therapy even though some clients come to me out of curiosity. There is a deep therapeutic component in each session.
The art of Past Life Regression is in asking the right questions. When a Regression Therapist you are working with asks questions, a new area of awareness is opened up to you. Without skilful guidance, this potential area of awareness may remain in the dark.
For example, I may ask questions regarding your family. My favourite way to ask about the family and its dynamics is to direct you to a meal time with your family.
This is a good time to recognize members of your family.
I may ask many more questions, if needed.
If those questions are missed, you may not have the awareness of your past life family at all.
The last part of the session is dedicated to healing, forgiveness and understanding the lessons of a past life as well as benefits from this learning. You can use the accumulated wisdom of your many lives to live and grow more fully and dynamically today.
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
– George Santayana (1863-1952)
